One standout in our portfolio is our proprietary project with J. Henry & Sons Distillery. This family-operated craft distillery in Dane, Wisconsin, is renowned for its exceptional spirits. Committed to quality and traditional methods, J. Henry & Sons specializes in producing award-winning bourbon. Their slow-paced production process and use of locally sourced ingredients result in meticulously crafted spirits that are a testament to their dedication and expertise.

J. Henry & Sons Distillery in Dane, Wisconsin

Our latest collaboration with J. Henry & Sons involves a unique twist on barrel aging. The RPM Steak Wine Team purchased a barrel of Tokaji Aszú, a world-renowned dessert wine from Royal Tokaji in Hungary. This exceptional barrel was sent to the J. Henry team to create a specialty finish, a process affectionately known as “boomeranging” a barrel. While not a common practice, it adds a distinct character to the final spirit.

We are thrilled to share the result of this collaboration: J. Henry & Sons, “RPM Royal Tokaji Cask.” This exclusive expression, aged for six and a half years and bottled at 56.5% ABV, is a remarkable addition to our collection, with just 390 total bottles. The unique influence of the Tokaji barrel imparts a rich, complex profile to the bourbon, making it a truly extraordinary pour.
