Out of 24 total farms in Miyagi prefecture raising wagyu beef, Kawaguchi Farm is one of only two farms that exclusively produces Sendai Beef and takes pride in its meticulous approach to cattle rearing. Situated adjacent to Lake Izunuma, Kawaguchi Farms’ beef owes its distinctive flavor to the cattle’s diet of top-grade rice straw, rice which Miyagi is renowned for, nurtured with pristine waters. This beef is a testament to Miyagi’s rich natural bounty.
